Deconstructing Conspiracy Campaigns: Synthetics, Age-Freeze Tropes, and Deflection DARVO | Project: Bullyish by Lillee Jean
Updated: Oct 4

I noticed, to my avid readers of Project: Bullyish's forensic studies, that these short guides have sparked a movement of pure courage! I am honored to share this knowledge in that way, where people who have been victimized become in control of their own narratives.
Today's short guide to protect yourself as a public figure, or entertainer, deals with when bad-faith syndicates target figures and shroud them in CONSPIRACY. I've written articles on forensic deepfakes and weaponized PII, but this guide summarizes all.
Bad faith actors frequently manufacture fabricated conspiracy theories, and, falsely sensationalize them through inflated numbers to distract the public from their own illegal activity. When each of these bad actors are faced with formal law enforcement investigations, or federal registered copyright enforcement, these syndicate campaigns resort to classic disinformation tropes to invert real accountability.
Understanding in a shorthand way, how these manufactured bad-faith narratives are built, clears up the noise and exposes the underlying motivation: deflection. A form of DARVO.
Forensic Misdirection & The "Synthetic Media" Inversion

FORENSIC EVIDENCE AI USED TO MEDICAL HOAX
FORENSIC EVIDENCE THEFT DEEPFAKES.
Shown above are two bad-faith actions. The first photo shows how deepfakes are weaponized for a medical hoax (on monetized platforms), and the second forensic photo collage shows how deepfakes are made to sensationalize fabrications, to yield to people's emotions, thus driving high click rates. There have been other deepfakes done on myself, and even my mom, which were reported to law enforcement with subpoenas in 2024 and 2026 to apprehend the criminal(s), but they remain so explicit that even censoring is not an option for this study.
Nonetheless, a huge and growing trend in digital harassment and pure vengefulness of corporate defamation is the inversion of synthetic media claims. This goes into DARVO, and how conspiracy theories begin with public figures.
In my own analysis of online cybercrime patterns, in good faith, I did my research, and it reveals that entities making and circulating non-consensual deepfakes often employ counter-accusation strategies. The classic false labeling of "we don't make AI"; that person makes "AI". Thus, in the conspiracy to confuse the public about AI, authentic, contemporary photography and cinematography get falsely pinned as "AI-generated." This tactic is a cloud-like telephone. One person hears, "Lillee Jean filed a police report on deepfakes in 2024." That waters down to "there are deepfakes on Lillee Jean". That waters it down further to "Lillee Jean and deepfakes". See how that vision distorts reality: the criminals are scot-free (untruthful, and they're subpoenaed with held accounts on X), and the victim is the real "deepfaker".
A growing tactic in digital harassment and online defamation campaigns actually involves the misuse of synthetic technology paired with "AI detection" software.

FORENSIC REAL PHOTO
FORENSIC DEEPFAKE PHOTO
Entities generating or circulating unauthorized deepfake imagery, video, and audio that are completely artificial or altered and do not depict the real entertainer, frequently to hide their real criminality, flip the script, and to confuse the public, run human-authored media through online AI checkers to falsely label genuine photography as "fake" or "computer-generated."
In media forensic and legal terms, this manipulation strategy serves three distinct operational functions: Firstly, third-party "AI detection" tools are great for a quick check, but commercial online checkers are notoriously unreliable, prone to false positives, and lack legal or forensic admissibility in any legal setting. You need a real forensic officer to identify forensic deepfakes.
Relying on uncalibrated web checkers dilutes accountability for the actual generation and distribution of illicit deepfake media. Entertainers and public figures must be alerted to this inversion of truth, as it's stems from alleged political agitators.

The "Age-Freeze" Narrative Trope, Non-Consensual Monetization, and Manufactured Inversion

ARCHIVAL TEENAGE PHOTO MEDICAL HOAX
ARCHIVAL TEENAGE PHOTO HOAX
Above I show two samples: one of a medical hoax, but with me as a teen (which is really odd to have a minors photo in your archive), and another from the dark web (tied to the nexus of this hoax), of me as a teenager once again in a compromising way (see my study on child safety). This is pure inversion. A staple tactic of online aggravated harassment networks and hate-for-profit channels is the intentional "age-freeze" loop. I've discussed the Rapunzel Trope, as I've coined it before, but it's vital to note that bad-faith operators perpetually cycle through archived media from early career milestones. Specifically, photos from when I was 17, 19, or 23. I was shocked, in fact, on April 18, 2026 (my birthday), to see photos of me at 21 being used to start more hoaxes for profit.
By refusing to acknowledge natural adult maturation, these networks attempt to lock public figures into a static, frozen eras. Many child stars have noted this odd cycle, such as Selena Gomez and even Dove Cameron.
"Sometimes I see these TikToks of like, ‘Dove Cameron when she was on Disney, she had this spark.’ It’s like, guys, please, literally the difference is some hair dye, and now I’m 30. That’s it. I’m exactly the same person.” Dove Cameron - SOURCE [PEOPLE]
In media forensic terms, this trope serves a calculated financial and narrative purpose, in what I've experienced. This includes how outrage networks fixate on early archival imagery, primarily because those specific images were heavily scraped, non-consensually commercialized for profit, and exploited for unauthorized merchandise and affiliate ad revenue.
Acknowledging my natural growth, professional evolution, training, and current body of work literally destroys their ability to recycle that stolen legacy media for continuous views. I note that these bad actors went as far as to call my agent, and even the studio I trained at, to "track" me, and "disprove" my training. While slightly different than what Dove Cameron faced, it does come down to that trope of wanting a forever cycle.
To explain away natural adult physical growth and maturing features, even private health events that occur, these bad-faith networks manufacture baseless claims of "excessive face work," "plastic surgery," or "AI generation." They can't cope with people growing up! They weaponize these lies to invert reality: if I age and mature normally, they claim it is fake. However, if I document my real life, they claim it is synthetic. It's a knot, essentially, because they seek a snarky or outraged reaction of "she can't grow up," which gives these channels a perpetual, outrage-driven topic. It allows them to generate serial video output, spin MORE conspiracy theories, and drive tons of ad monetization at the expense of documented reality and standard human development.
I also note. My body, my choice; your body, my choice.
Deconstructing Manufactured Conspiracies: De-Contextualized Fan Edits, Metric Defamation, and Proxy Tropes

FORENSIC NON-CONSENT SPONSOR
FORENSIC EVENT HOAX FOR PROFIT
To any public figure reading this, let alone person, it's pretty absurd to think any of these theories would suspend - but they do, to niche groups. To sustain outrage-driven algorithms, hate-for-profit syndicates routinely rely on interconnected conspiracy loops. This really is akin to conspiracy theorists for political agitators.
These campaigns, so to speak, are generated to create a self-perpetuating cycle of monetization. When bad-faith actors lack substantive evidence, a primary tactic involves taking benign, transformative creative works, such as fan edits, collages, or promotional art created by supporters, and stripping them entirely of context. With quick flashes on the screen, it's highly deceptive. It also makes people argue, "Well, why would this person put their reputation on the line?'
The cold fact: channels circulate these innocent edits, or now out-of-context forensic delusions, as "proof" of deceptive hoaxes or fabricated event appearances, framing genuine audience support as intentional deceit to manufacture public outrage out of thin air while deflecting from real-world cybercrime. This tactic surprisingly was done to me when I started being more outward online at 14-15, though my first blogs spanned 9-11. Bad actors made people falsely believe I "popped out of nowhere", when if a real study was done, that's categorically false, with many of my works being highly re-pinned. To further the bad-faith narrative, my fans at the time were harassed in DM'S, with operatives going comment by comment, messaging people delusions, that frightened them from interacting with my work any further.
A particularly disturbing element, though, of this ongoing monetization loop is the continuous recycling of early archival media from an entertainer's youth, including many private photos. Think of that. A grown adult with my teenage face on their hard drive.
Outrage networks perpetually cycle through images from childhood or early teenage years to create videos focused on an adult woman, with the distortion of a child's photo, establishing an unceasing, self-feeding content machine. It's confusing. Fixating on minors' archival photography to drive adult discussions, is a tactic designed to exploit non-consensual legacy media, ignore natural human development, and manufacture false claims of synthetic altercations or cosmetic work. The true fabrication lies within the networks themselves, which rely on this endless recycling of childhood media to generate perpetual ad revenue.
Furthermore, to diminish an independent entertainer’s professional credentials and film distribution milestones, harassment operations routinely hurl unsubstantiated claims of "bought engagement" or metric manipulation. In media economics, this serves a dual function.
First, it attempts to invalidate legally protected career achievements, including registered film works and official streaming distribution, while providing these networks with a repetitive, algorithmically favorable talking point to drive continuous views. The ironic part is, as I sourced from Politico...this happens to everyone, and people just move on. The difference is, it's not sensationalized, nor put into deep conspiracy for profit.
"...lost huge numbers of Twitter followers Thursday as the social media company began its promised purge of millions of locked and inactive accounts. [SOURCE POLITICO]
To make matters worse, hand-in-hand with metric defamation is the "proxy writer" trope, where bad-faith operators falsely assert that family members, management, or ghostwriters secretly author every script, post, or legal filing.
Beyond being demonstrably false through my own work, this misogynistic narrative is engineered to strip female filmmakers, actors, and directors of their creative being, diminish their professional qualifications and training, as well as justify the targeted harassment and privacy invasion of their family members. It's weird, and it's giving when people tried stating Avril Lavigne was duped:
"A blog....speculated several years back about the singer...pointing out what it said were inconsistencies in her skin...images used on the blog have repeatedly appeared online, external to both support and dispute the claim...The blog was set up to "prove how easy it is to start a big internet conspiracy theory..." [Source, BBC]
Ultimately, these manufactured conspiracy loops serve as a shield against legal accountability. Unlike the Lavigne hoax, or engagement hoaxing, in my case, public figures need to stay alert to the NEW WAVE of hoaxes. These hoaxes have real-life effects, and where they invade your every being.

CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY
CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY
When bad-faith networks face real-world legal enforcement, such as police reports filed with local precincts (e.g., NYPD 109th Precinct), FBI IC3 cybercrime complaints, U.S. Postal Inspection Service investigations, or Federal Trade Commission (FTC) deceptive trade filings, they escalate sensational online narratives.
Manufacturing falsehoods over fan edits, childhood archival photos, metrics, or proxy theories is a deliberate effort to manipulate search algorithms, change public perception for profit and clickbait engagement, and obstruct documented law enforcement processes.

Forensic Methodology and Estimations: The financial figures, expenditure projections, and infrastructure valuations presented in this report (specifically the "Forensic Bill" and "Total Estimated Expenditure") are forensic estimates formulated by the author. These projections are based on a comparative analysis of industry-standard market rates for enterprise-level cloud egress, global proxy rotation, high-compute data center bandwidth, and AI API consumption during the period of October 2025 – March 2026. Because the private invoices and internal service agreements of the identified third-party infrastructure providers are not public record, these figures represent a good-faith expert projection based on the documented volume and frequency of server logs. No Malice / Investigative Intent: This article is a work of investigative journalism and forensic study published as part of Project: Bullyish. The purpose of this publication is to document patterns of cyber-harassment, educate the public on digital safety, and provide a transparency report regarding the security of the author’s intellectual property. Any mention of specific entities or service providers (e.g., Tencent, Alibaba, Microsoft) is based on direct forensic evidence captured in server logs (IP addresses and User-Agents) and is intended to describe the technical path of the traffic, not to imply that the parent infrastructure providers are intentionally complicit in the harassment. Legal Characterization: Terms such as "Racketeering," "Computer Trespass," and "Digital Shakedown" are used in a descriptive and investigative context to characterize the pattern of conduct observed in the forensic data. These characterizations are the opinion of the author based on the documented "course of conduct" and are not intended to serve as a legal determination of guilt, which is the sole province of a court of law. Reporting and Evidence: All original, unredacted logs, timestamped data, and TCP handshake records referenced in this study have been preserved and submitted to the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) and the NYPD Cyber Crimes Unit as part of an active, ongoing criminal investigation.
